Privacy Policy

1. Who This Covers

This Privacy Policy explains how GKHT Exotics LLC ("GKHT Exotics," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information. It applies to gkhtexotics.com, to inquiries and reservations you make with us by phone, text, or email, and to your rental of a vehicle from us.

It should be read alongside our Terms of Service.

2. What We Collect

Information you give us

• ContactName, phone number, email address, and postal or billing address.
• IdentityDriver's licence number, licence state and expiry, date of birth, and a photograph or scan of your licence. In some cases a second form of identification.
• InsuranceInsurer name, policy number, coverage limits, and information gathered when we verify your coverage with your insurer.
• RentalVehicle requested, dates, pickup and delivery locations, additional drivers, and any preferences or notes you give us.
• PaymentCard details are entered directly into Stripe. See Section 7.
• CommunicationsTexts, calls, emails, and messages between you and us, including anything you send us voluntarily.

Information collected automatically

• IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, and screen size
• Pages viewed, time on page, referring URL, and search terms that brought you to the Site
• Approximate location derived from IP address

Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from your insurer during coverage verification, from vehicle suppliers, from payment processors regarding transaction outcomes and disputes, and from driving-record, identity-verification, or fraud-prevention services where a rental requires such a check.

3. GPS and Telematics Data

This data is collected for the entire time a vehicle is in your possession. It is linked to you as the renter and forms part of the rental record. We disclose this clearly here and in the Rental Agreement, and by renting from us you consent to it.

We use telematics data to locate and recover vehicles, to verify compliance with the Rental Agreement's speed, acceleration, geographic, and mileage terms, to calculate mileage charges, to investigate accidents, damage, theft, and citations, and to respond to lawful requests from insurers or law enforcement.

Telematics data is not used for advertising and is not sold. Collection relates to the vehicle during the rental period; we do not track you after the vehicle is returned.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to inquiries, quote rates, and take and manage reservations
• To verify eligibility — age, licence validity, driving history, and insurance coverage
• To prepare and administer the Rental Agreement
• To process deposits, rental payments, refunds, and any post-rental charges
• To deliver, collect, service, and recover vehicles
• To investigate and resolve damage, loss, accidents, citations, tolls, and disputes
• To detect and prevent fraud, theft, and misuse of our vehicles
• To comply with legal, tax, insurance, and regulatory obligations
• To improve the Site and understand which pages and vehicles people are interested in
• To contact you about your booking, and — only where you have asked for it — about offers or availability

5. Who We Share It With

We share personal information only as needed to run the business:

• Vehicle suppliersWhere a vehicle is owned or supplied by a third party, we share what that supplier needs to authorise and insure the rental — typically name, licence details, rental dates, and insurance confirmation.
• InsurersYour insurer, and any insurer involved in a claim, incident, or damage investigation.
• Payment processorStripe, to take payments, hold or refund deposits, and handle disputes.
• Service providersTelematics providers, roadside assistance, recovery and towing, repair shops, cleaning services, and identity or driving-record verification services.
• AuthoritiesLaw enforcement, toll authorities, and courts, where required by law, subpoena, or lawful request, or where necessary to report a stolen vehicle or respond to an incident.
• Professional advisersOur accountants, insurers, and lawyers, under duties of confidentiality.
• Business transferA buyer or successor, if the business is sold or reorganised.

We do not share your information with anyone else for their own marketing purposes.

6. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have never done so. We do not rent, trade, or licence customer lists.

7. Payments

Payments and deposits are processed by Stripe. When you pay through a Stripe payment link or invoice, your card details are entered directly into Stripe's systems. We never see, receive, or store your full card number, CVC, or expiry date.

We receive from Stripe only what we need to run the booking: your name, the amount, the last four digits and brand of the card, the outcome of the transaction, and any contact details you entered on the payment page. Stripe processes your data under its own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.

8. Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies necessary for it to function and to understand aggregate traffic. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to see which pages and vehicles attract interest. We do not run behavioural advertising trackers on the Site.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The Site will continue to work. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal; where we receive a Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as a request to opt out of any sharing for advertising purposes, which — as noted in Section 6 — we do not do in any case.

9. How Long We Keep It

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and then for as long as required for legal, tax, insurance, and dispute-resolution purposes. In practice:

• Inquiries that do not become rentals — typically up to 12 months
• Rental records, licence and insurance verification — retained for the period required by applicable state law, insurance requirements, and the statute of limitations for claims, generally several years
• Telematics data — retained for a limited period after the rental, and longer where it relates to an open incident, claim, citation, or dispute
• Financial and tax records — as required by law

When information is no longer needed we delete it or render it anonymous.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including limiting access to those who need it, using reputable processors such as Stripe, and serving the Site over HTTPS.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send us licence images, insurance documents, or other sensitive material through unsecured channels unless we ask you to, and never send us a full card number by text or email.

11. Your Choices and Rights

Wherever you live, you may contact us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
• Delete information, subject to what we must keep for legal, insurance, tax, or dispute reasons
• Opt out of promotional messages at any time — reply STOP to a text, or email us. This does not stop messages about an active booking

12. California Residents

The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, applies to businesses meeting certain revenue and data-volume thresholds. GKHT Exotics does not currently meet those thresholds. Even so, we extend the core rights below to California residents as a matter of policy:

• The right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, and the categories of recipients
• The right to request deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions
• The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information
• The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — noting that, per Section 6, we do not sell or share it
• The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights

The categories of personal information we collect are described in Section 2, our purposes in Section 4, and our disclosure recipients in Section 5. To make a request, use the contact details in Section 15. You may use an authorised agent, in which case we will ask for proof of authorisation.

If our business grows past the statutory thresholds, we will update this Policy and comply with the CCPA in full.

13. Minors

The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Our minimum rental age is 18 or higher depending on the vehicle. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always posted here with the "Last updated" date at the top. Where a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
